2 years of development packed into 3 months; over 200 hours of direct support & engagement​

This program is for: 
  • Companies raising rounds of at least $1.5M
  • Companies w/ prototype ready product, and initial traction, in domains we support (See About Us)
  • 1% equity and option for LightSpeed  Innovations allocation of > $150,000 for investment & syndication​

What should you expect?

Our program  is semi-virtual, a combination of in-person and virtual sessions, and fully customized
  • 1 lead Venture Partner per company
  • Dedicated mentor team (2 mentors selected based on aligned background)
  • Pre-Accelerator Work: develop a Business Model Canvas showcasing 3 iterations/lessons learned PRIOR to commencement
  • Weekly Deep Dives
  • Market/Industry Strategy for Beach Head Market
  • Financials and Use of Funds Strategy
  • Build Out Strategic Advisory Board
  • Prep program for investment/syndication  - pitch, marketing, investor communications

We work with you to accelerate business formulation, develop market entry  and product strategy, understand and analyze growth and metrics, and create the right pitches to match the right investors or customers.

Launching a business can be a challenging experience. We pair you with a team of a Venture Partner who curates access to our mentor network and provides hands on support to enable you to move forward fast!
We like to say, 2.5 years of progress in 3 months!

We are about building a community.  Ask any of our alumni.  We invite them back during our accelerator to share their experiences and build new relationships with you, learn themselves.  When you join LightSpeed, you join a community.

INVESTMENT AND ONGOING SUPPORT

A hallmark of our program is that it does not end with Demo Day.  The core team sticks with you beyond and interfaces to continue to help you grow and navigate even as your business needs shift.  You have access to ongoing events, are invited back to network and meet new customers, new investors, re-engage.  Again, we are building a community.

What we expect from you

Focus on the work, focus on understanding the market, understanding the user needs.  Our support should align with what you would be doing for your business. 
Requirements:
  • Founder/CEO leads the team
  • Weekly tag ups of at least one hour 
  • Actual/focused customer discovery - 7-10 interviews per week (we help with networking with the right contacts).
